Representing our country in Women EuroCup, Near East University Women’s Basketball Team is facing İstanbul University at the final qualifying round for EuroCup.

According to the press info released by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of the Near East University, the final qualifying round for EuroCup will be held at Prof. Dr. Turgay Atasu Sports Hall at 18:30 on Thursday, 13 October, 2016.

At the first qualifying round for Eurocup, Near East University Women’s Basketball Team faced İstanbul University at Caferağa Sports Hall and defeated its rival overwhelmingly by a net score of 82-53. With this lopsided victory, the Near East University gained a great leverage for the second round and is very close to be qualified to compete in FIBA Women EuroCup. However, the Near East University will bid farewell to EuroCup, if the team is outscored 30 points by its opponent.
