Near East University Women’s Basketball team is now among the Final Four teams of the Women’s Euroleague. Furthermore, it is currently the leader of the Turkish Women’s Basketball Superleague and its 20th week NEU will be hosting OGM Ormanspor. Previously, Near East University had won a triumph over its opponent, OGM Ormanspor, at an away game with a score of 45-78.

According to the press release issued by Near East University Sports Club, Near East University will be hosting OGM Ormanspor for a basketball match to be held at Istanbul Caferaga Sports Hall on Saturday, 10th March, 2018 at 15:30 (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus time zone, UTC +2) and 18:30 (in Istanbul). The match will be live broadcasted on TBF TV.

Zafer Kalaycıoğlu: “We will be very competitive!”
Making a statement regarding the match to be played, Chief Coach of Near East University Women’s Basketball Team Zafer Kalaycıoğlu stated that they were ready to host OGM Ormanspor and that they will be playing competitively. He added that in order to complete the league as a leader, they needed to win all the matches to be played.

He added that they had won a triumph previously with a score difference; however, the match to be played on Saturday will not be easy. He pointed out that they aimed to win all the matches to be played in the league and complete the league as a leader. In this regard, he expressed that they had made all the preparations and that the NEU athletes placed significance over this current match. He ended his words by emphasising that they will be putting all the effort to win the game.
