Turkey Bassketball Federation Arbitration Committee removed the penalty, including deprivation of rights for 3 months and paying 1 penalty of 10,000 TL, given to Işık Eyigüngör, Near East University Sports Club President, due to the events happened at the first match of play off final session with Fenerbahçe.

According to a press info released by the Near East University Sports Club, “The penalty of including deprivation of rights for 3 months and paying 1 penalty of 10,000 TL given to Işık Eyigüngör, Near East University Sports Club President, due to the events happened at the first match of Turkey Women Bassketball Super League play off final session between Near East University and Fenerbahçe on 09.05.2017, has been reported to be cancelled by the Turkish Basketball Federation Arbitration Committee in accordance with Article 24 of Bassketball Diciplinary Directive, following the investigation about the issue.”
