Turkish Airlines Authorities celebrated the championship of Women’s Basketball Team of Near East University by visiting the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Near East University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irfan S. Günsel, expressing joy regarding the achievement of the team attained at the FIBA (International Basketball Federation ) Women’s Eurocup Championship.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Head of Cyprus Marketing Branch of Turkish Airlines, Uğur Kelce; Specialists from the Sales Unit of General Directorate of Turkish Airlines (THY) visited the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Near East University; while the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of NEU, assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan; General Director of Tourism Enterprises of Near East University and Member of Board of Managing Authority of Near East University Ahmet Savaşan accompanied the visiting committee.

Furthermore, it was pointed out that the Head of Cyprus Marketing Branch of Turkish Airlines Uğur Kelce presented a model plane Boeing 777, which had “Near East University” imprinted on it, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Near East University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irfan S. Günsel.
